I am swamped. I have been swamped. I will continue to be swamped until at least November 1. And just because I have been "enjoying" being swamped I am thinking about particpating in NaNoWriMo this year. I have an idea for a project but I haven't made the time. Waiting for rejection letters seems like a good time to devote to something completely other than academics (provided I finish the projects I'm behind on now.) However, all of that stuff aside, I have to share some pictures. Auntie [livejournal.com profile] melodymuse gave Asha and Vati a new toy and I just have to post pictures of them playing with in on their post.

They are so *cute*!

And go you, for being swamped - I was afraid you'd have too much time to spare this fall with the previous snafus. Take care and pet the cats!

They're at the perfect age to get a lot of use out of a kitty tree.

LOL - I often call Wheelz 'thunderpaws'.

Oooh, the cuteness is just off the scale. They even look a good deal like kitten versions of my two, who still play catch-the-string and climb-the-screen like kittens now and then. The ability of 4-6 month kittens to levitate as high as they happen to want to (tops of curtains, tops of bookcases, etc.) cannot be overstated. A climbing thing will let them work some of that off harmlessly. However, each of them will find herself clinging mysteriously to the top-most furnishing in your apartment at least once. Whether you rescue the poor wee distraught kitty is up to your judgement.
