The Squee of Accomplishment

It's been a long six weeks of nothing but dissertation revisions. Nothing. But. Revisions. And tomorrow I have to read what I wrote today and revise more.

But no matter what tomorrow may bring, tonight is good. Tonight I have a completed draft of my diss. From into to conclusion. An entire draft. I don't know what I feel exactly beyond exhausted and somewhat accomplished. I know there are miles of revisions to go and yet because Ann will have to piss all over it have insightful commentary and suggestion. A draft. SQUEE!!

I am enjoying a nice drink and whatever mindless TV I can find.

ETA: Iolaus is hot. Tequila is good.

Good for you! I really don't see why the academic gate-keeping process has to grind something you wanted to spend at least a couple of years on into meaninglessness, but there you are. I hope it's useful and that the meaning comes back later.

Probably I never had enough tequila to deal with that kind of thing. Hang in there, and it is entirely permissible to rub Iolaus with a little lemon preparatory to warming your tequila on him.
