I know that maybe three people on my flist are watching Rock Star: Supernova but still I will cut for spoilers. But, oh the pain of Dilana's stumble this week!! Woe for my rockgrrl. Woe. She's still my grrl (I do love Storm but not with the rocker passion I have for Dilana) but I wish she wouldn't have fallen down so hard this week. I think I heard the crash out here!!! I hope it's not the end for her. I don't care for Ryan much, I think he's a bit bland and borders on smarmy. I'd rather see him in the bottom 3 than Magni who has loads of talent. And I have no idea what is getting Lukas by week after week, though TLee was pretty harsh. Still, Lucas and Ryan should have been in the bottom three rather than Magni and Toby. IMO. YMMV.
But dude, Dilana. Be careful what you say to the press or you will get hurt EVERY TIME! They are a show no mercy crew. Also, they're looking for something juicy, something that will create controversy. Don't make their jobs easy, my rocker grrl.

In other news, my 16 year old niece is here which should be a blast! I'm a little lost in the maze that is life with an adolscent though I am geared up for Step Up and Material Girls this week. Look for a My Life With Hilary Duff post coming to this lj soon! Also Pirates and possibly Superman. In addition we're planning trips to the beach and maybe the California Science center.

Tomorrow, shopping! With a side of makeup! And possibly pedicures.

If you care for me very much, you might volunteer to spend a day at Magic Mountain. *blinks hopefully at flist*

Ok, that's too much to ask. Some story recs would be good. Please?

If I lived closer, I would totally spend a day at Magic Mountain. It was the one theme park in CA that we never got to when I was living there as a kid, and I've always felt that I'd missed out on something. (On the other hand, I know Disneyland and Knott's like the back of my hand. *g*)

Wow, I so wished you lived closer! I love Disneyland but I am a bit intimidated by Magic Mountain's rollercoasters and my thrill-seeking niece can't wait to ride them all. Multiple times! It should be an interesting weekend.

I am so sorry I didn't call you back! I got your VM today and planned to call tonight but I got on the phone with my Mom and Harmony.

Magic Mountain? I'd be there like a shot, but this weekend is Worldcon. Are you likely still to be entertaining the niece on Labor Day weekend? Is Magic Mountain good then? I'm enamored of roller coasters, though I appear to be a mild-mannered administrator. Keep me posted!

Our plan is to go next weekend (probably Saturday). However, she's vascilating between Disney and Magic Mountain, suddenly. Something shifted yesterday and now she's no longer certain that Magic Mountain is the place. How long can you wait for this to be resolved?

I hope you have a great time at WorldCon. I wish I were there!!
